Families In Transition

This program is designed to provide services mandated by the federal McKinney-Vento Act for students living in transitional housing situations including shelters, hotels/motels/ unsheltered or doubled up due to economic hardship.  This program serves Pre-K, elementary, junior high and high school students in transitional living situations. The primary focus of the program is to provide continuity for the learner and a positive experience utilizing instruction and education related activities.

Mr. Ostrowski has 21 years in education, a valued member of the Venture Faculty for 4 years and has been in AISD for 21 years.

Believe In Yourself!

Venture faculty and staff wearing Keep Calm and Believe in Yourself shirts.

 

Each Monday, the Venture School faculty and staff will wear Keep Calm and Believe in Yourself t-shirts. We want to provide a non-verbal reminder to our students of our school's mission statement, which states,” We believe that all students can learn and become productive, responsible citizens through a balance of mutual commitment and personal integrity."  We believe that each and every student can be successful in school and in the future.

Please note:  Intake is a 2 day process.

Final day to enroll is April 4, 2017.  
Students must enroll for 4 hours each night.
