Learn more about UTA Racing!
UTA Racing is composed entirely of students from The University of Texas at Arlington and competes yearly in the Formula SAE competitions organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers. Every year the team designs, builds, and competes with a new car. Competition consists of several events, both static & dynamic. The static events include a design & business presentation, in which the team justifies the engineering behind the car, the marketability of the design, and the business plan for the production should it be produced. The team is also responsible for making a manufacturing outline, a cost report, & a marketing plan. The dynamic events include straight line acceleration, figure eight skid pad, autocross, & endurance and fuel efficiency events. Each year, the team of students refines not only the car, but also the structure and organization of the team in order to maintain its position as one of the best.

UT Arlington Summer Programs
The Engineering and Computer Science Camps are designed to be fun and educational experiences for students. Our one week camps were created to provide students with a broad exposure to the variety of engineering disciplines -- aerospace, biomedical, civil & environmental, computer science, electrical, industrial, materials science and mechanical -- plus related topics in chemistry, physics, and/or math. Field trips to see engineering at area businesses and team projects supplement the classroom activities and hands-on experiences.
