I am available to answer any questions that a parent should have, either by email (mwilson8@aisd.net) or by phone through the school receptionist at 682-867-8300. If a parent wishes to meet with me, please contact the counseling office to set up an appointment.

Class Rules (all classes)

  1. Arrive on time with all necessary supplies.
  2. No electronics of any kind unless being used in an educational situation
  3. Demonstrate respect to everyone in the classroom.
  4. Obtain a pass before leaving the classroom. Passes are not available during the first or last 15 minutes of class.

Homework and Quiz Policy

Work that is completed on time is worth 100%. If it is turned in up to one class day late, it receives 70%.

Advance notice will be given for quizzes and tests. This means that even if a student is absent the day before the quiz or test, he is still expected to be ready for it when he returns. Quiz objectives may be retaken until the student is successful or the end of the six weeks.

Progress reports will be sent to all students at the beginning of the fourth week of each six weeks. In addition, a student’s grades are available to his parent or guardian through TEAMS. To register for this program, please contact the counselors’ office.

The best way to be successful in my class is to attend regularly, complete homework assignments consistently, and participate in class. Students are responsible for their grades, but I will do all in my power to give them the tools they need to be successful.
