  • Teachers:  Please take a moment to check ID’s.  For those students without an ID, use the Google form to order them a new one.---Boys Soccer Tryouts will take place today after school on the turf. veryone must have physicals and grade checks will made. Please bring flats and cleats. Thank you.---Hey Lamar students.  Looking for a fun, free way to get a little culture and support your friends this holiday season? Come see the two free theatre two shows in December. ...The first show REMEMBER is a war play dedicated to remembering our troups. Remember will be December 7 at 7:00 PM.The second play is the fun comedy Dearly Departed on December 11 at 7:00 PM. Thanks!---STAAR EOC testing will be December 7th through the 11th. Please check the lists in the hallways for your name. If you know that you should be retesting and do not see your name on the list, please contact Ms. Thomas in room 255.---Need a gift for that special nerd in your life?  Short on cash?  The Lamar Robotics team will be selling miniature robots for under $10.  Look for the cart Friday at both lunches.---

    Your Lamar Robotics Team had their first tournament of the season last Saturday at Nolan Catholic. Led by Patrik G. and Lexi F., they powered past perennial power Haltom in the semi-finals on their way to a 3rd place showing in the finals. Congratulations!

    Late Night at the Library


    The Library will be open late for tutoring and studying on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 3:00 - 6:00 pm, beginning 9/8.

    Entrances to Lamar

    Lamar students, parents, and visitors,
    Prior to 7:35, the Band Hall, Promenade and Main Office entrances will be unlocked. After 7:35, we will lock all exterior doors except those at the Band Hall entrance and the Main office entrance. All parents and visitors may park in the main lot north of Lamar Blvd and enter through the Band Hall, or park in the lot just off Sam Curlee Blvd at the SW corner of the school. A security guard will direct visitors at the Band Hall entrance, and visitors to the Main Office entrance should check in inside the main office. Thank you!
