Keeping School Safe

Safety at Burgin

The safety and education of your children is our primary concern here at Burgin. We strive to create a safe and caring learning environment for our students. In order to maintain a calm and orderly atmosphere at Burgin we need your assistance in the following areas:

  • Please enter the building from the Mayfield Road entrance and report to the office immediately upon entering. Guests must present a valid ID and wear a printed visitors pass at all times while in our building. Please understand that our staff is directed to question any person in our building who is not wearing a visitors pass.

  • Please follow the traffic flow plan at arrival and dismissal and comply with all requests of the people directing traffic. You may not leave your small children in unattended vehicles. Please do not park your car in the vehicle lanes during arrival and dismissal.

  • When visiting during lunch, you may only eat with your children at the tables provided for families closest to the windows. You may not invite other children to eat with you. Only individuals who are listed on a child's approved contacts are able to eat with the child.
