College Board Presentation:
On Wednesday during Plus Period, College Board will be presenting to the Juniors about their PSAT scores and the newly redesigned SAT.  It will be a great opportunity to learn ways they can improve their scores before taking the SAT.

PSAT Scores and Report Explanation:
School Report Card:

The state has released AHS's report card.  The report card can be found under "Quick Links" on the left of this page along with a letter explaining the details. In summary, I could not be more proud of the hard work from our students and teachers last year.  AHS received a Met Standard Rating from the State and earned 4 out of 7 possible distinctions.  We had the second most distinctions among traditional high schools in the AISD and an improvement of 4 distinctions from the previous year.  If you look at the four index numbers, you will see that the fourth is titled “Postsecondary Readiness”  While we went up in both Index 1 and 3 (Index 2 did not have a score for 203-14), I am most proud of increasing 5 points in Index 4. We are striving to ensure that all of our students are prepared to meet post high school challenges after their time at AHS.

Thank you for everything you do to support our school!!
