2017 Yearbooks
The last day to order the 2017 yearbook at the $55 price is March 3. After March 3 you will have to pay $65. Order today! Order online at http://www.yearbookordercenter.com/, school order number 10016, or send cash, check or money order payable to “AHS Publications” to the school, ATTN: Emily Miller. Payment plans are available on campus only. Email ahscolt@gmail.com for more information. The yearbook will be distributed in May. We will have a limited number to sell at that time and we sold out last year. Don’t wait, order today.

Senior Yearbook Ads
Time is running out to buy a senior yearbook ad! The deadline is February 28. Order your senior ad online at www.yearbookordercenter.com, school order number 10016.   SAT Prep

The opportunity to prepare for the March, May, and June SAT's is approaching. Spring prep classes are scheduled for February 25 & 28 and March 2 & 4.  Payment is $25, cash or check, due to Ms. Lanciaux in C109 by February 17. Checks should be made payable to AHS Test Prep. Please stop by C109 or email alanciau@aisd.net for any questions. Follow the link for the registration form.

A message for Dads:All Pro Dads is on a mission to help you love and lead your family well as we encourage one another to be a hero to our kids. Join us for a before-school breakfast and a 30 minute program of family topics. Breakfast is FREE ... just bring your student. Next meeting is March 3.

MGM Announcements

During the months of January and February, MGM will be selling breakfast before school on Fridays. They will be located across the street from the school in front of Mosaic. MGM will be selling Krispy Kreme, Chick-fil-A, Shipley's and McDonalds. Make sure to check the MGM Facebook page for more information!

WE HAD TWO WRESTLERS MAKE TO THE STATE WRESTLING TOURMENT IN HOUSTON: JOSE Z. 120 2ND IN REGIONAL; NOAH S. 126 3RD IN REGIONAL VERY PROUD OF THESE GUYS.

Business Professionals of America students competed in Keller and are state qualifiers.  They will compete at the state conference in March. Team members are: Emily H., Hannah L., Maliaka D..Michaela R., Raevyn M., Destiny D., Evan O., Jennifer N. Jenny A., Joann C., Lisette R., Yahya M.

AHS Swim Team secured 4th place for girls and 3rd place for boys in the District competition!

AHS cheer performance squad earned a National Championship title! 

Academic Decathlon team won the Regional AcDec competition for the fifth year in a row.

The UIL Journalism team competed at the Timberview Mansfield tournament Junior Angel G. placed 1st in Feature Writing and 3rd in Headlines, and junior Emma R. placed 4th in News and 6th in Features.

Ben Carroll has been awarded the NSCAA/MaxPreps player of the week for the State of Texas.

Arlington High FFA competed in the Arlington Winter Classic Stock Show.

The Academic Decathlon team competed in Flower Mound.  Please congratulate the following students if you see them:

The AHS Speech and Debate Team competed at the Sachse Speech and Debate Tournament:
Blake S. placed second in Congressional Debate and fifth in Novice Extemporaneous Speaking.
Grace R. and Brijan K. finished in Quarter Finals in Public Forum Debate.
Grace R. also won a Top Speaker Award in Public Forum Debate.

The Lady Colt wrestling team competed in the Arlington Invitational Tournament and finished as Tournament Champions.
